Every appointment made at Sound Wellness Telepsychiatry is handled accordingly. After setting an appointment with us, your slot will be reserved, so you can see one of our psychiatric providers at an available time window scheduled by our staff. It will allow you to have a one-on-one consultation with our psychiatric providers without interruptions or haste. You will receive a reminder about your appointment a day or two before the schedule. However, you must take note that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment with us.
Although we understand that it may be necessary to miss an appointment, it is crucial for you to cancel your appointment online or via phone call at least 12 hours before your schedule. Otherwise, you will be charged 100% of the service fee amid cancellation. This is intended to allow other patients to get their much-needed care as well.
Conversely, a situation may arise where another patient fails to cancel his/her schedule, and we are unable to schedule you for a visit, which can be due to a seemingly “full” appointment book.
You have a 15-minute grace period before being considered a No-Show and/or Late. Showing up for an appointment after the 15-minute grace period is considered late. You will be charged the entire visit fee.
Be informed that if you have missed or canceled two (2) sessions, you may be discharged by your provider from the service due to administrative reasons.
